Istanbul (1)

The famous Aya Sophia

I just got back my scans from my vacation to Turkey! This trip was a birthday present for myself and my mum, since both of our birthdays fell in the month of October.

The Blue Mosque

This was my first trip I planned from A to Z, so I had an amazing time spending time with my mum and explore this beautiful, historically rich country.

A photo of me for once!
Lunch in a restaurant nestled in the heart of Istanbul

Unfortunately, I only had two film rolls of my travels in September and October – it was my first time travelling with film so I was paranoid the images would turn out foggy. The photos turned out fantastic though!

That said, I took hundreds of photos with my digital camera. I might dedicate a post with my favourite images from my digital camera another day.

Footnote: I sent these images to a different photo lab! Do you see a difference? All my travel photos were done at Silver Halide Studios.
