Last year, my fiancé took up fishing as a hobby, and naturally, I had to bring my camera along. These photos are from several outings we’ve had throughout the past year!

On one of these outings, we went fishing at Canning Bridge with his friend Luke. You’d be surprised how crowded it can get on a good, beautiful day, but I was also pleasantly surprised by how decorated Canning Bridge is with street art. It was basically an art gallery.

I personally have yet to catch a single fish when I follow along, and I learned I’m not patient enough to really wait for a catch. That said, though, there are plenty of fish in the Swan River swimming around you when you are waist deep – mostly blowfish and jellyfish.

But you know, still fishes.

Last year, I wasn’t logging my film shoots properly, so I genuinely don’t remember which brand of film rolls I used for any of these. However, I’ve been doing better recently by simply asking the developers to rename the folders with the film types.
